Day 1: Arrival in Entebbe
Welcome to Uganda – THE Pearl of Africa! Go through the necessary immigration procedures and thereafter, meet and greet by our representative. Transfer to your hotel in Entebbe for overnight. Note: You can obtain a visa at a cost of $50pp from Immigrations upon arrival or if also traveling to Kenya and Rwanda, an East African tourist visa at a cost of $100pp.

Day 2: To Kibale Forest National Park
Morning breakfast, check out and head North Western via Kampala and travelling on a paved road, through various cultivated gardens of crops like bananas, tea plantations, rural homes and towns like Mityana, Mubende, Kyenjojo before reaching Fort Portal in time for lunch. Thereafter, proceed to Kibale Forest arriving in the early evening where the night falls with the sounds and whispers of the tropical rainforest.

Day 3: In Kibale Forest National Park
After early morning breakfast, transfer to Kanyanchu Tourist Centre for briefing prior to the chimpanzee tracking activity. Have a morning spell in the forest as you track the Chimpanzees and other primates resident in this rainforest. In the afternoon, have a Bigodi Swamp Walk. This is an initiative of the local people geared towards conservation in this area. On this walk you have chances for seeing different birds & butterfly species, primates like black and white colobus monkey, red tailed monkey, blue monkey, grey-cheeked mangabeys, etc. There is also a variety of interesting plant species.
Day 4: To Queen Elizabeth National Park
After breakfast, check out and bid farewell to Kibale for a departure journey to Queen Elizabeth National Park travelling through the Fort Portal-Kasese road. Arrival at Queen Elizabeth National Park in time for lunch! After lunch, have a two hours boat trip on the famous Kazinga Channel that links Lakes Edward and George. The launch cruise is not only a wonderful way to see schools of hippos and the occasional Nile crocodile but also offers spectacular bird watching, game viewing and photography opportunities.

Day 5: To Bwindi National Park
A sunrise game-drive adventure in Queen Elizabeth!!! This park has got different vegetation types and eco-systems such as tropical forest, grassy plains, rivers, lakes – Edward and George, swamps and volcanic craters which harbor amazing wildlife species. With the massive Rwenzoris as a backdrop, game drives in the park provides excellent opportunities to encounter elephants, cape buffalos, thousands of Uganda Kobs, lions, leopard, Topi, giant forest hog, de fassa waterbuck and bush buck. Thereafter, proceed to Bwindi NP – THE Home of the Mountain Gorillas!

Day 6: Gorilla Tracking
An early morning breakfast and together with our packed lunches and Gorilla trekking gear, report to the UWA park headquarters at Bwindi for registration and pre-briefing before you start the trek. After briefing and in groups of 8 pax each, enter the gorilla sanctuary for your adventure!! The beauty of this rain forest is spectacular. Time allowed to spend with the Gorillas is 1 hr. To many, a visit to these gentle and endangered giants is such an awesome, exciting and memorable experience to be long savoured!
Day 7: To Lake Mburo National Park
Morning breakfast and check out of the “Home base of the Mountain Gorillas”. Depart with great memories of the moments spent with the amazing Gentle Giants! Transfer to Lake Mburo National Park arriving in time for an early evening game safari before returning to your accommodation for overnight.

Day 8: To Entebbe and departure
An early rise to a cup of coffee/tea with a bite! Embark on a safari walk for a face to face encounter with the residents of Lake Mburo whilst on foot. Return to your accommodation for fully fledged breakfast. Thereafter, check out and drive back to Entebbe with an en-route brief stop at the Equator. Drop off at Entebbe International Airport for onward departure.
